For prospective candidates:

We're glad that you are considering joining us here in the Illinois Conference for an exciting journey of ministry together!

To submit an application for the position of Conference Minister in the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ:

1. View our conference profile and prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to minister with and among us.
2. Instruct the Parish Life and Leadership ministry team at the United Church of Christ national offices in Cleveland to forward your UCC Ministerial Profile directly to our search committee. We will only accept official UCC Ministerial Profiles that have been authorized for circulation (i.e. no draft profiles) and that have been forwarded directly from Parish Life and Leadership (i.e. we will not accept Ministerial Profiles sent from a candidate her/himself.)
3. Complete our Conference Minister Application and submit your completed answers via a PDF or MS Word file attached to an email to ilconfsearch@secondcon.com. (Please identify yourself in the body of your email with your name as it appears on your UCC Ministerial Profile.)
4. Pray for continued guidance and discernment for yourself and for our search committee as we all seek to most faithfully follow God's call for the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ.

Applications for the position of Conference Minister must be received in total (both Ministerial Profile and Application Questions) by March 1st in order to receive primary consideration by the committee.
