The below link is the "Illinois Conference Safe Church Policy" adopted by the Conference Council on November 18, 2006. We ask all churches to read this and become familiar with this policy. You may also adapt it as a policy for your local church. The Insurance Board is asking all churches to adopt a policy similiar to this one.

If your church is already in the UCC Insurance Board program, you know the excellence and value of our insurance program. The Property and Liability Program administered by the UCC Insurance Board is unequaled in coverage and is competitive in the market, saving dollars for the ministries of our churches.
